Darryl B. Cobb
Darryl Cobb is Partner and Vice President of the Charter School Growth Fund where he is responsible for managing investments and supporting high-quality charter management organizations. Cobb formerly served as Chief Executive Officer for the Chicago-based ACT Charter School. Previously, he was Chief Learning Officer at the Knowledge is Power Program (KIPP) Foundation. As a participant in The Broad Residency in Urban Education Cohort 2004, Cobb served as director of school relationships for KIPP, helping provide leadership, instructional and operational support and service to KIPP schools nationwide over a two-year period. Cobb has also served as a management consultant for DiamondCluster, and a senior consultant for Accenture in Atlanta and Washington, D.C.
He holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Virginia and a master's degree in business administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
